What belongs on the calendar
Floor treatment such as scrubbing, sealing and burnishing. High-level dusting on structure, ductwork and light fittings. Internal glass above reach. Amenity deep cleans covering grout, dispensers and extraction grilles. Bin area washing. External approaches and any surface that accumulates slowly. Each has an interval determined by the surface and the load rather than by convention, and each needs its own line.
The calendar should also record what must happen before a task can run. Access equipment, a production stop, isolation of an area, clearing of stock or a permit are all common prerequisites, and they are the usual reason a periodic item slips. Naming the prerequisite and its owner turns a task that never quite gets scheduled into one with an identifiable blocker.
